Welcome to the St John's Centre

This centre opened in 2001, funded by Newlands SRB and the United Reformed Church on the site of the old St John’s URC.  The new centre is here as a resource for the local community and has rooms available to hire.

The centre is run by a voluntary management committee with a very small staff. It currently hosts a range of activities and we are always open to new ideas. Call in for a chat and a coffee/tea during office hours, ring us or email.

For example, maps for local walks are being produced for fun and fresh air and to share knowledge of our neighbourhood.  Do you have a route to suggest?

St John’s is actively working with BD3 Partnership, Bradford Moor, Thornbury and Barkerend and the new "Fagley Locals in Partnership" group and building closer links with community centres nearby:
